Elise and Jon’s Engagement Session San Juan Capistrano, CA

It’s hard to express how blessed we are to have friends like Elise and Jon. Elise and I go WAY back. We’re talking theater days back. I met this girl running around backstage doing community theater in Whittier, CA. She is a gal of SO many talents and has believed in me ever since I first picked up a camera. I’m so lucky and honored to be a part of her wedding party supporting her as one of her bridesmaids. In lieu of all the wedding planning, we decided to plan her engagement session in a gorgeous mustard flower field in a blossoming orange grove. Thanks to Jessica of Vintage Affair Designs we were able to style the shoot with gorgeous vintage chairs and various props. Of course, in order to tell their story appropriately, we began the day shooting at Lord Windsor Coffee Shop in Long Beach, CA. Jon is a HUGE coffee shop fan and spends a lot of time studying, working and relaxing there. Later we moved across the street taking advantage of the picturesque church archway that was catching light that morning. We finished up around sunset in beautiful San Juan Capistrano showing off the pantone color of the year, Emerald green!  We found the most gorgeous field of yellow and orange to compliment. It was perfect place to set up all our stuff and hang out while the sun went down. All in all, the perfect day. We even shot some video for you to check out of our time there. Elise and Jon, we are both so happy for you and are so excited to have been included in your process of joining your lives. We love you.ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage
